Homelessness is a growing issue in the UK. We believe that the placemaking industry is perfectly placed to play a key role in creating lasting, substantive solutions to the causes of homelessness, as well as lifting people out of vulnerable positions through providing jobs, skills and training. We hear about what it means to be able to give something, after years of begging and why getting people indoors is the best way to start to address other life-limiting issues. The solutions are complex and it’s a process but there are opportunities to get involved.
